IOS actually has a native screen recorder as long as you’re running on at least IOS 11 I believe, if you haven’t tried that already. It should just be enabled in the control center settings to have it ready to go in the control center panel for when you need it. I never really used it much myself while playing, but I didn’t notice slowdowns or anything in my experience.
