It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update regarding the status of our little home here, so without further ado …
First up, pageviews – it’s kind of staggering to realize we have over 1.2 million pageviews in less than 6 months:
Next is a snapshot of user activity over the last 30 days. This is about what we’ve been seeing for the last few months, except the rate of flags has dropped dramatically in the last week – woo!
A neat new addition to the latest version of Discourse is this “community health” module. The two graphs I watch most closely are DAU/MAU (which is a marker of “stickiness” – the ratio of daily active users to monthly active users; the target is > 30%) and Daily Engaged Users (users who’ve visited and done something like posted, liked, flagged):
How are people finding us? The top traffic sources over the last 30 days:
A couple of snapshots of our users’ devices and operating systems:
A look at where our users are located:
On the operations side, you guys continue to upload a lot of stuff
And finally, just want to remind folks about our Patreon, especially as we’re about to drop off the AWS free tier for some of our services. In case anyone is wondering, our Patreon income is not meeting our costs at present, so if you’d like to contribute, visit our Patreon page! Many thanks to those of you who have contributed in the past and those of you who continue to do so!
