Ah the times when 5-6m is not a long wait. 
Still remember max 1m wait even on absurd hours and giving fair matches.
Not many people are playing, plain and simple. Remember the “fix” when we started to get fair matches here and there, but prematch wait time got up from 1m to 6+? Yeah, kinda obvious.

I think the amount of players online at the same time. On a specific server queing a specific game mode. At a certain skill range is rather low yes.
Brawl modes and two casual modes lower the amount of players for ranked by a lot…

Had another game where I had two tier 3’s yaay, but I would have won if my phone did not literally shut off right when an important team fight broke out the moment it told me it was at 15%. Stupid unoptomized battery…can’t wait to replace it soon
