Anyone here planning to participate in either of these month-long events?
I’ve never heard of nanowrimo, writing is it?
Sorry, yes it is! It’s National Novel Writing Month, and the goal is to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. It’s really fun — I participated last year but didn’t “win” … I am going to try again this year!
I thought if anyone here was going to participate, we could all add each other as writing partners and encourage one another!

Wow I’m not one for writing so that word count is scary to me. This is cool and I can imagine many great works being written in the spirit of this, hope you and others here who do this have fun, I’ll cheer you guys on.

The new NaNoWriMo web site is live! It’s really attactive, and they’re using Discourse for their forums now!
(It doesn’t seem to OneBox well now, though!) 
Ooh that’s a good idea. Actually, would anyone be interested in brainstorming a list like that for VG? We could post it on our VGforums twitter feed and maybe get semc to retweet us.

Zwei is the best character. I feel like if he can fit (and survive) inside a small tube and get smacked into a mech with absolutely no harm to himself, he can do anything.
