Hurricane Ida

This is just terrifying – look closely at the fix info box: sustained winds of 130 kts (150 mph) with gusts to 160 kts (184 mph) :open_mouth: Ida is currently a Category 4 hurricane and is forecast to make landfall as a Category 5 (see the next forecast circle on the Louisiana coast). It will make landfall exactly 16 years to the day after Katrina hit the Louisiana coast in almost exactly the same area :confounded:

That is quite a coincidence, an anniversary of a category 5 hurricane having another forecasted category 5 hurricane hit the same area many years later. That’s actually a rather creepy occurrence
