Basically, just do the usual sorts of things you’d do on a forum, and you’ll earn quite a few badges along the way. 
There’s a list of badges here which can help you see what it takes to earn them.
Time to earn all of them again?
Where’s the new user tutorial badge? there’s no little blue tick? does that mean i din’t do it?
