Spend 15 minutes just to find a perfect picture to fit in.
Now the black box showing information overlaps most of the area.

So everybody agree with the black-box-thing overlapping your beautiful picture?
It’s already been discussed in another topic. The purpose is to place the emphasis on the foreground text not the background. Someone started a topic where you can post your card and profile backgrounds to show them in all their glory, though.
