But the one who should be complaining about low/high mix is the VG silver… and they won. I don’t know, I feel like that’s a decent match-making decision for a case with one very skilled outlier. Sorry, I didn’t look into the second game - I’m in the middle of client calls while writing this, so don’t really have time. Anyway, you know I think about matchmaking, and I know what you think. I hope you get another 33-game stretch of close matches.
I need to add that all that “combine elo for team” approach is wrong as for example a vg silver will do a lot more towards a victory as a bot than top.
Top 50 player in mid/bot will wipe the floor with poa gold team, even with shitty teammates.
There are just not enough players. In the ideal world all the 10 players would be super close in elo as it was in 3vs3 where the playerbase was enough. Now it’s not.
@HipsterSkaarf I just saw this on twitter, one team has 3 tier 10s (reset) a tier 5 and a tier 6 while the other has 5 tier 10s. Its not even compensating high mmr with low mmr in this game, the matchmaker basically decided that one team is gonna play a 3v5
Don’t know, man. Maybe off-hours? Maybe something to do with 2- or 3-person parties? One of those lower ranked players has a fairly high 3v3 rank, so maybe there’s something going on with their elo? I really don’t know. The rest of their games look fairly matched, for what it’s worth.
