The skins for the event are roflmao wtf good on both PC and WR. 
Not everyone loves the event, it seems.
The author of this piece raises a number of valid points in the article:
- the event is way too grindy, even with the progression fix they instituted
- most of the story episodes are too repetitive and boring
- the choice of champs is really peculiar unless you consider that they were chosen to sell skins
- they kind of screwed up the existing lore of Runeterra with this event
- the writing is truly cringe-worthy (and this is from the Narrative Team???)
On the other hand, the art style for the whole event is fantastic, and the skins are top shelf. That said, I hope they stick to alternate universes (like Spirit Blossom, which was still the best event in League’s history, imo) for their big events in the future.

Just finished the event this morning … definitely enjoyed Spirit Blossom much more. This was too linear and repetitive, and the end was obvious from the outset.
