Taka. He might not be op but is annoying to play against when not in a coordinated team.Takas on my team seem to be idiots who target the enemy roam while enemy takas seek and destroy my carry every single time.
I think the best way to shut down Taka is to shut down the mid laner and limit Taka’s kills. By crushing the mid lane the enemy team will lack the AOE damage to punish tight team formations. Taka, no matter how tanky he builds, can’t jump into a group of 5. His early game escape is too good to count on kills to limit him.
Yes that is one way to reduce his impact. I main mid lane squishies in 5v5 so there is one more reason to ban taka, not that he is impossible to handle but banning one of the best counters to mages makes it safer. Taka in SEA is either ban or first pick so picking mages when he is not banned is risky at best and suicidal if the taka is pretty good
