CORE:
:vgitem_shatterglass: :vgitem_frostburn: :vgitem_brokenmyth: :vgitem_spellfire: :vgitem_halcyonchargers:

Defense: :vgitem_aegis: or :vgitem_slumberinghusk:

Tips as CP: Play as you would CP Blackfeather. Use B to poke and since its the main damage source from your kit and use A as a execute. Max B first and A if your against a CC heavy comp or C if your not against much CC.

Miho Playstyle Tips

WP Miho generally wants to be passive during the laning/early parts of the game. Focusing mainly on trying to hit her main powerspikes of level 8 and sorrow tension bow.

CP Miho isn’t really a mage and doesn’t have anything that it does better than its WP counterpart. If you want to play CP Miho, max B first and play a more B centric playstyle, focused on providing tones of AOE damage, just be aware that your B roots you.

Btw… don’t use serpent mask on Miho! Poison shiv works well and better on Miho.

I’d add that Lorelai and Gwen are both great counters to Miho in lane.

Lorelai essentially stops Miho from using her B (since she’ll eat a stun and a ton of damage if she tries) which eliminates her threat in the early game. Lorelai also applies huge amounts of lane pressure, and as soon as she builds :vgitem_eveofharvest: an A dropped in a pile of lane minions will heal Lorelai through any damage Miho might do before level 10 or so.

Gwen has enough speed to avoid getting three stacks of Miho’s perk right from level 1, but when she gets her Ult she will kill Miho any time Miho attempts to use her B.

Also, every laner who rushes reflex block counters Miho’s early game, since her B is so easy to block.

You should never use your reflex to block her B

Early on? It comes back. After she gets her Ult then that’s what you save it for, but most laners will win a damage race with her if she doesn’t get to apply her perk, so it basically lets you beat her up for free. Even after she gets her Ult, if you dodged it or just lucked into avoiding it, reflex block through her B lets you stay on her without letting her use it for damage or to reset her A. It gives you the option to stay aggressive, and helps you play against the weak portion of Miho’s game.

Reflex Block costs 700, so it’s easy to get it out long before Miho hits her item power spike, and before anyone has an Ult to save RB for. Most heroes can just bully her out of the lane if they don’t need to keep their distance while she’s using her B.

Fighting Miho is about catching her when she can’t use her perk.

If you use your RB while she uses her B, she will just wait to use her B again before engaging, and then you have nothing to protect yourself. Another thing is that you will be too vulnerable to ganks.

If you reflex blocked her B, then you got free hits while she was rooted and either killed her or forced her to recall. It gives you a window to be aggressive, and Miho usually can’t afford to lose a trade.

RB is less of an easy button if Miho isn’t laning, since she’s a lot more likely to catch you unprepared or in a 1v2, and she is probably farming somewhere that you can’t see, but in the lane it’s both easier and more effective to press the advantage.

You’re right about being more vulnerable to ganks, but you know if your RB is on cooldown and if the enemy jungler and captain are accounted for, and early-game ganks are usually survivable if you’re just near your turret and don’t let minions pile up. They key with Miho is that if you play aggressively, it’s almost always worse for her than for you.

A good Miho would just stop attacking you. To play against Miho you just need to play agressive, not to use your RB nor buy it early on. You can trade with her as you would do with any other weak esrlygame hero, easy as that.

Then you still accomplished the same thing. The point is that you don’t need to stop attacking her. You didn’t give her a chance to create space, and created a window of 10-12 seconds where she couldn’t initiate any sort of offense.

If you’re opposite Miho in a lane, you’ll want RB before she hits level 6 anyway, but it’s also super-effective against her beforehand since it locks out most of her damage.

Miho will just poke you with her B, if you get into melee range with her, or block her ability, she should just back off.

Why are you acting like reflex block is free. It could easily delay your first damage item by 2m.

This. RB should not be bought early on, specially if you will use it to protect yourself from Miho’s B instead of using it to block something more important. It leaves you vulnerable to ganks and delays your power spikes which are more important against Miho than the RB.

It’s as useful as against reza, so 0. You are only delaying the dive.

Yeah, like maybe if leaning against a top Catherine you can grab it after you get a heavy steel, but beyond very extreme early crowd control it’s not a good buy.
