as soon as the match starts everything is fine but once we start trying to take a dragon it starts to lag pretty bad and after that I lag the rest of the match
that sounds like the device itself is not performing well enough. try clearing cache and restarting.
turn off any background apps. only have vainglory running. and then experiment with the graphics quality in the game settings to see if it makes a difference. Low, medium and high.

@eclipse what @Ve3nNo0wM says is sound advise. My nexus 9 tablet laggs when I have the game on auto quality and that lagg is almost nonexistent when I set it to medium.
