[HERO IDEA #2] Arius, The Ethereal Protector

Hey, It’s Tyrantino and today I’m featuring Arius, The Ethereal Protector.

Born with strong power, Arius devoted himself to use his powers to protect the people from danger. Utilizing his powers by either drawing them away from danger or by diving into it to assist his allies.

Weapon Power: 60-260

ROLE: SUPPORT or MAGE
LANE: ROAM, TOP or MID

HEROIC PERK: ETHEREAL GUARD
Arius is orbitted by Ethereal Orbs. These orbs act offensively or defensively depending on the situation

Ethereal Defensive: When he is below 45% maximum health, His orbs will transform into a shield that reduces damage. The shield’s strength and durability scales with his bonus health and overall level.

Ethereal Offense: When out of energy, His orbs will attack nearby enemies, Prioritizing heros. Dealing 30-120 crystal damage and replenishing 30% of his lost energy. The damage scales with his bonus crystal damage and overall level.

• Static cooldown: 80 seconds

FIRST ABILITY: SIGIL OF BINDING
Arius projects a sigil, Binding himself on the first enemy or ally hit.

Bound Ally: If an ally is bound to him, Arius will grant the ally a shield that scales with his bonus shield and ally’s lost health. Reactivating this ability will pull the ally to him and heal the ally.

Bound Enemy: If an enemy is bound, The enemy is damaged and slowed overtime while healing Arius for a short amount. Reactivating the ability will pull the enemy to his location, Dealing a stun and damaging the enemy a second time.

SECOND ABILITY: IMPENETRABLE
Passive: Arius will gain bonus armor and shield when shielded by Ethereal Defense.

Active: Arius conjures an impenetrable shield. Blocking all damage from the first incoming attack or ability. Subsequent damage will be reduced by a percentage of his bonus health.

ULTIMATE: BENEVOLENT WILL
Arius selects a nearby ally and charges to its location, Ridding allies of crowd control and creating a barrier that damages enemies on impact. Enemies inside or outside the barrier cannot enter or dash through.

He also heals the ally if they critically low on health.

Overdrive: Instead of charging, He will now blink to the ally.

Life tether would also be a cool skill. Arius now shares one hp bar with his Ally (visible cord between them) lowering incoming damage by 50% and after it is cancelled but not when the duration ends they both receive healing for 25% of the damage taken.

End the tether too soon and your ally will take full damage, end it too late and there will be no healing.
